Bad Bunny Tops Spotify Wrapped Global Artist List for 2025, Taylor Swift Claims No. 1 Spot in the U.S., Joe Rogan Dominates Podcasting Industry

Spotify has unveiled its 11th annual Wrapped, the personalized year-end summaries showing users top listening habits. Globally, Bad Bunny emerges as the platforms most-streamed artist of 2025, amassing over 19.8 billion streams, with his album DeB TiRAR MS FOToS ranking as the top album. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars track Die With A Smile claims the position of the years most popular global song. Movie-related music also saw a surge, with the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack landing as the second most-streamed global album.

In the United States, Taylor Swift takes the crown as the top artist. Morgan Wallens Im The Problem is recognized as the most-streamed album, while Kendrick Lamar & SZAs luther (with sza) tops the charts as the leading song.

On the podcast front, The Joe Rogan Experience leads both globally and in the U.S. A newly introduced category, audiobooks, is headed by Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros.

The Wrapped feature summarizes users favorite genres, artists, and songs, tracks how often they listened to their top 100 tracks, and shows changes in top artists month by month. The event has become a key engagement tool for Spotify, offering interactive experiences like Wrapped Party, which allows users to host listening sessions with up to nine friends. This year also introduces features such as Listening Age comparisons, Fan Leaderboards, and six new Clubs reflecting streaming habits.

Spotifys Wrapped will expand beyond the app with around 50 real-world fan experiences globally and a short film featuring Sap Concho, the endangered Puerto Rican crested toad and mascot of Bad Bunnys album, showing in social media campaigns, outdoor promotions, and select theaters in North America. Creators and advertisers also gain access to personalized Wrapped analytics.
