According to Taylor, the Chiefs mission is clear but daunting: they must win all five remaining regular-season games, most likely to claim the seventh and final playoff seed. "All five games are against AFC opponents, meaning every matchup from here on is effectively a play-in scenario for Mahomes and Reid," Taylor explained.

Looking at the schedule, the Chiefs face formidable opponents including the Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers, and Denver Broncos.
