Chinese actress Yang Mi has officially become the latest ambassador for Prada. At 39, Yang Mi has built an impressive acting portfolio, starring in approximately 70 films and television series. Her breakthrough roles include Chinese Paladin 3 (2009) and Eternal Love (2017), which significantly elevated her profile.

Prada emphasized her subtle and convincingly authentic performance in this years drama This Thriving Land, which generated substantial discussion on Chinese social media. The luxury brand also acknowledged her diverse screen presence across projects such as the hit Tiny Times series, her role as Wang Xumei in Shes Got No Name, and her acclaimed portrayal of Zheng Yuting in The Lychee Road.

Prada has always held a special place in my heart. I admire its quiet yet memorable elegance, and the brands dedication to creating its own unique design language, Yang Mi commented on her new role with the fashion house.

A graduate of the Beijing Film Academy, Yang Mi has collaborated with numerous high-profile fashion labels including Michael Kors, Versace, Victorias Secret, and Loewe. She is considered one of Chinas top-earning actresses, boasting over 113 million followers on Weibo and more than 13.6 billion mentions on Xiaohongshu.

Prada also highlighted Yangs commitment to social causes, noting her advocacy for safe drinking water in rural communities and support for children with autism, demonstrating her influence beyond the entertainment and fashion industries.
