Hilton has inaugurated its inaugural hotel in Hyderabad, India, marking a significant milestone in the global hospitality chains expansion across South Asia. The new property, Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa, was developed in partnership with CKR Resorts and is situated within Indias renowned Biotech Hub.
Hyderabad boasts a gross domestic product of $94 billion, driven by robust infrastructure growth and increasing foreign investment. This economic momentum is fueling a rising demand for luxury accommodations among business and leisure visitors.
Spanning 20 acres in Genome Valley, the resort features 115 rooms, including six suites and 13 pool villas. Its design celebrates Telanganas cultural legacy, incorporating elements inspired by traditional Kakatiya architecture. The resort offers 89,000 ft of versatile indoor and outdoor event spaces, including two ballrooms, five meeting rooms, expansive lawns, a pool deck, and a creekside mandapam for ceremonial gatherings. Courtyards and open-air spaces further enhance the propertys appeal.
Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa also introduces the eforea spa brand to the Indian market. The spa includes eight treatment rooms and wellness amenities such as a sauna, steam room, ice shower, and dedicated relaxation areas.
Zubin Saxena, Hilton South Asias senior vice-president and regional head, commented: This resort showcases Hiltons signature hospitality in a vibrant new destination, delivering a multi-dimensional guest experience. From dynamic spaces and energizing atmospheres to exceptional dining and wellness offerings, the property sets a new standard for leisure and lifestyle stays in India.
The resort incorporates a range of sustainability measures, including energy-efficient building systems, an on-site water bottling facility, electric vehicle charging stations, sustainable packaging practices, and electric transport options throughout the property, reflecting Hiltons commitment to responsible hospitality.
Srinivas Chintala Reddy, managing director of C.K.R Resorts, said: Collaborating with Hilton to develop this resort has been incredibly rewarding. Hyderabad is a city that values culture, wellness, and connectivity, and this property embraces all three. Combining Hiltons global expertise with our local insight, weve created a destination that resonates with the citys rhythm while offering guests a refined and immersive experience.
