This weekend, Doha, Qatar will host a high-profile conference featuring a diverse roster of speakers including former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump Jr., media personality Tucker Carlson, and tech mogul Bill Gates. Additional notable attendees at the Doha Forum will include:

Two former Trump administration ambassadors will also appear: Matthew Whittaker, U.S. Ambassador to NATO, and Thomas Barrack, U.S. Ambassador to Turkiye. Other international leaders include Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama, European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and cabinet members from countries including Norway, Turkiye, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Greece, Poland, Liberia, Nigeria, Bosnia, Cyprus, Malta, Somalia, Yemen, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Panama, Azerbaijan, and Brazil, along with United Nations representatives.

During the conference, Tucker Carlson is scheduled to interview Qatars Prime Minister, while Christiane Amanpour will speak with Syrian President Al-Sharaa, following a year after CNN aired a controversial report about a Syrian prison rescue.

The lineup has drawn criticism from some conservative figures. Senator Ted Cruz used the hashtag #QatarFirst in reaction to Carlsons participation, while Laura Loomer commented on the financial support and luxury arrangements provided to attendees by the Qatari government, highlighting the countrys ties to Islamic groups.

Despite the backlash, the conference will proceed with speakers from across the political and media spectrum, including members of the Trump circle and other global leaders.
