Nordstrom is preparing to broaden its presence in 2026 by introducing at least 14 new Nordstrom Rack locations across 10 states in the United States. While exact opening dates have yet to be announced, the retailer confirmed in a statement that the new stores will debut next year in Florida, California, Louisiana, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Washington, Virginia, and Ohio.

The upcoming openings highlight Nordstrom's continued growth following a transformative period for the company. In December 2024, Nordstrom was acquired for $6.25 billion by members of the Nordstrom family and the Mexican department store chain El Puerto de Liverpool. The acquisition was finalized earlier this year, with the Nordstrom family holding a 50.1% stake and Liverpool owning 49.9%.
