On December 3, it was reported that several teams within Microsoft have scaled back growth expectations for select artificial intelligence products. This adjustment follows widespread challenges among sales personnel in meeting their targets for the fiscal year ending in June, according to The Information.
The report highlighted that it is uncommon for Microsoft to adjust quotas for individual products, citing sources within the Azure cloud division. The reduction reflects both internal sales struggles and slower-than-anticipated adoption of new AI technologies by customers.
