Universals Wicked: For Good has now exceeded $407 million in worldwide box office revenue as of Wednesday. The film has earned $278.1 million domestically and $129 million internationally. Directed by Jon M. Chu, it is the 15th film of 2025 to reach the $400 million milestone and the 12th Hollywood release to do so this year.
The movie began its international release on November 19 and debuted in North America on November 21. Its opening weekend brought in $147 million domestically and $223 million globally, surpassing the 2024 release of Wicked, which opened to $112.5 million in the U.S. and $164 million worldwide.
In its opening weekend, the film set multiple records, including the largest domestic and global debut for a Broadway musical adaptation, the highest opening weekend of 2025 in the UK, marking Universals third-biggest UK launch ever, and the biggest live-action musical debut in Australia.
