'Zootopia 2' Surpasses $600M in Worldwide Box Office

Disneys sequel, Zootopia 2, has swiftly crossed the $600 million mark worldwide following a blockbuster opening weekend. The film has amassed $446.9 million internationally as of Tuesday, including $20.5 million earned on that day alone, bringing its total global box office to $616.7 million.

Tuesdays earnings propelled the sequel past Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning and Superman, securing its place as the sixth highest-grossing studio release of 2025 to date.

The Jared Bush and Byron Howard-directed feature reached the $600 million milestone in just seven days. Playing in 51 key international markets before its December 6 release in Japan, Zootopia 2 has now overtaken F1, making it the fourth highest-grossing international studio film of 2025.

Tuesdays international contribution amounted to $20.5 million from these 51 markets. The top five international markets so far are:

  • China: $297.2 million
  • France: $16.3 million
  • Korea: $15.6 million
  • Mexico: $12.3 million
  • Germany: $9.4 million

Chinas cumulative earnings through Wednesday have reached an impressive $310 million, while Koreas total stands at $16.6 million.
