Adult Film Star Scott Finn Passes Away at 27

Rhett Messerly, widely recognized in the adult film industry as Scott Finn, passed away on November 23 at the age of 27, his family revealed in an online obituary.

In their tribute, Messerly's family highlighted his remarkable ability to accept people as they are, a trait that defined his childhood in Utah. He was known in school for his friendliness and genuine care for others, and later in life, he enjoyed outdoor activities and hands-on projects.

Born on February 2, 1998, Messerly attended Weber High School in Pleasant View, Utah, where he was described as sociable and charismatic. His family recalled that he often went out of his way to support others, whether helping someone dig out a car, sharing a meal, or simply offering reassurance.

Messerly was also athletically talented, engaging in sports like football and baseball, as well as performing trampoline tricks at home. His competitive spirit extended even to family card games, which could turn into playful brawls.

As an adult, he was known for his strong work ethic, culinary skills, and inventive nature. Messerly is survived by his parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rhett is deeply missed by his family and everyone who knew him, the obituary read. We find solace in knowing his struggles have ended and that he rests with his Heavenly Father.

The obituary did not disclose the cause of death. Messerlys family held a viewing and funeral services for friends and relatives in North Ogden, Utah, on December 4.

Earlier in the year, Messerly shared what would be his final social media post, reflecting on a difficult period in his life and noting that he had not updated followers in some time.
