Alanis Morissette scheduled to perform at Powderham Castle in 2026

Renowned Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette has been announced as the headline act for a major music festival scheduled in Devon in 2026. She is set to perform on Friday, 26 June at the event TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham in Exeter.

The festival is being organised by Live Nation promoters Cuffe and Taylor. Morissette, who appeared at the Glastonbury Festival earlier this year, will return to south-west England alongside artists such as Lewis Capaldi and Teddy Swims.

Live Nation promoter Oli Mason described Morissette as "a true rock icon," noting that she was filling stadiums long before the rise of social media and the internet. Mason added that for many fans in their 40s, her iconic album Jagged Little Pill was a constant soundtrack during their youth.

Alanis Morissette has sold over 60 million records globally and is best known for her 1995 album Jagged Little Pill, which included hits like You Oughta Know, Hand In My Pocket, and Ironic. The album alone sold three million copies in the UK.

The festival is expected to attract up to 130,000 attendees. Mason highlighted the economic benefits, stating that the influx of visitors from outside the South West will likely fill hotels, bars, and restaurants, providing a significant boost to the local hospitality and entertainment industry.
