All the Information on the Third Season of 'Percy Jackson And The Olympians' that We Have So Far

Even though Season 2 of Disney's Percy Jackson and the Olympians hasn't premiered yet, work on Season 3 is already underway. The series received an early renewal for its third season in March 2025, and several significant cast members have already been confirmed.

Season 3 Plot

Season 3 will adapt the third book in Rick Riordans original series, The Titans Curse. This installment introduces a darker and more intense tone, presenting greater challenges for Percy and his fellow demigods.

New Characters and Casting

Fans can expect new characters from the book to appear on the show. At San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Disney revealed the casting of Bianca and Nico Di Angelo, the children of Hades who join Percy on his journey. Olive Abercrombie will play Bianca, while Levi Chrisopulos will take on the role of Nico.

Dafne Keen, known for her roles in Deadpool & Wolverine and His Dark Materials, has been cast as Artemis, the goddess of hunting and the moon. Saara Chaudry (The Mysterious Benedict Society, PAW Patrol: The Movie) will portray Zo Nightshade, Artemis lieutenant and an immortal hunter. Nightshade, daughter of Atlas and Pleione, was originally a Hesperide before joining the Hunters of Artemis.

Kate McKinnon has been cast as Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, who has the power to change her appearance based on the viewer.

Production Timeline

Season 3 is currently in production, with filming having started in August 2025, about a year after the completion of Season 2. A release date has not yet been announced.

Main Cast and Crew

Returning stars include Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, and Dior Goodjohn. Season 2 featured Daniel Diemer as Tyson, Percys half-brother, and Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus. Recurring guest roles include Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus, Simons as Tantalus, and Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes. Zeus will be portrayed by Courtney B. Vance, following the passing of Lance Reddick. Sandra Bernhard, Kirsten Schaal, and Margaret Cho play The Gray Sisters.

The shows executive producers include Jonathan E. Steinberg and showrunner Dan Shotz, with Rick Riordan serving as co-creator and executive producer.
