American Society Of Cinematographers to Present Robert Yeoman with Lifetime Achievement Award at 40th Annual Gala

The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography Gala by honoring acclaimed cinematographer Robert Yeoman with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The ceremony is scheduled for March 8, 2026 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills and will be streamed worldwide.

Yeoman is renowned for his long-standing collaboration with director Wes Anderson. Their partnership includes films such as Bottle Rocket (1996), Rushmore (1998), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004), The Darjeeling Limited (2007), Moonrise Kingdom (2012), The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), The French Dispatch (2021), and Asteroid City (2023).

Beyond his work with Anderson, Yeomans cinematography credits include Drugstore Cowboy (1989), Dogma (1999), Red Eye (2005), Whip It (2009), Get Him to the Greek (2010), Bridesmaids (2011), The Heat (2013), Love & Mercy (2014), Spy (2015), Ghostbusters (2016), and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018).

Bobs work is immediately identifiable his compositions reflect meticulous craftsmanship, warmth, and a profound narrative insight, commented ASC President Mandy Walker. Through his unique visual approach and lasting collaborations, he has shaped modern cinematography and inspired countless filmmakers.

Additional honors at the gala will include the Career Achievement in Television Award presented to M. David Mullen (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Westworld, The Good Wife), the Presidents Award for Cynthia Pusheck (Brothers & Sisters, The Bold Type, Our Flag Means Death), and the Award of Distinction for Stephen Pizzello, editor-in-chief of American Cinematographer Magazine, recognizing his editorial innovation. Kodak will also be celebrated with the Curtis Clark Technology Award for its creative and cultural contributions.
