Andy Cohen accuses Austen Kroll of being 'obsessed' with Craig Conover

The focus of Southern Charm seems to have shifted, centering heavily on the friendships between Craig Conover, Austen Kroll, and Shep Rose. A recurring theme shows the trio struggling to mature while pursuing women significantly younger than themselves, with Shep often taking the lead in these antics. Yet, the bond between Craig and Austen consistently delivers dramatic moments suited for reality TV.

In Season 11, Craig is navigating single life once again, enjoying parties and flirting with Charley Manley. During one cast gathering, Austen made audible jabs at Craig, highlighting the friction that can arise when close friends provoke one another, often saying cutting remarks.

Recently, Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen questioned the nature of their interactions. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live, Andy playfully described Austen as obsessed with Craig, particularly regarding Craigs return to drinking following his split from Paige DeSorbo.

Craig had previously shared struggles with alcohol addiction during Season 10, and Andy asked Austen for his perspective on Craig drinking again. Ive been asked about this a lot. It almost seems like Im fixated on Craig and his choices, Austen admitted. Andy teased, Well, we know you are obsessed with Craig, but thats OK. Austen replied, He definitely interprets it that way, which I find confusing.

Co-star and former girlfriend Madison LeCroy was present during the exchange, adding to the banter by calling Craig her ex-boyfriends perfect match when prompted by the audience. Andy chimed in, joking, Theres only one match for Austen, to which Madison encouraged, Come on, just do it. For Austen, the situation felt like a setup.

The audience continued pressing the topic, with one fan asking why Austen seems so envious of Craig. Madison, a trained hairdresser, offered a humorous jab about Craigs appearance. Andy added, He has objectively better hair than you, eliciting a playful reaction from Austen.
