Brennon Lemieux Explains Reason for Divorcing Alexa Lemieux in Love Is Blind

Brennon Lemieux and Alexa Lemieux, who became household names through Love Is Blind, have decided to end their marriage. The couple, who tied the knot in 2021 during the filming of the shows third season, revealed their split on December 3 after being together for four years.

Alexa, who shares a 16-month-old daughter, Vienna, with Brennon, addressed the breakup on Instagram, noting, "This decision was made with careful thought, respect, and appreciation for the time we shared together." She emphasized that their focus remains on co-parenting Vienna and navigating this change with compassion.

Brennon, while not publicly commenting on social media, detailed the reasoning for the divorce in court filings last month. The 35-year-old explained that their marriage had become "unsustainable" due to conflicting personalities, making reconciliation impossible. He also requested the court to return any assets he owned before the marriage.

Despite the separation, Alexa has been spending quality time with Vienna, sharing moments of their day-to-day activities, including visits to Santa, Halloween celebrations, and a recent trip to Hawaii with family. Brennon was not present in these outings, reflecting the couples current approach to co-parenting.

This news adds to a string of breakups among Love Is Blind participants post-show, as many couples found their real-life relationships challenged by differing lifestyles, expectations, and personal issues after leaving the pods. While some couples, like Daniel and Taylor, have remained together, many others, including Monica and Joey, and Brittany and Leo, ended their relationships despite initial compatibility on the show.

Alexa and Brennons split highlights the complexities faced by reality TV couples once the cameras stop rolling, demonstrating that love in the pods does not always translate into lasting marriage. Both continue to prioritize their daughter while moving forward separately.
