Chad Powers Gets Renewed for Season 2 on Hulu

Glen Powell is set to return to the spotlight as Hulu announces the renewal of his comedy series "Chad Powers" for a second season. This decision comes shortly after the first season concluded on October 28.

Created by Powell alongside Michael Waldron, known for "Loki", the show draws inspiration from ESPN segments featuring Eli Manning, who famously used prosthetics to attempt a walk-on at Penn State football years ago.

In the series, Powell portrays Russ Holliday, a former college football player seeking to revive his career. To do so, he adopts the persona of Chad Powers, complete with prosthetics and a wig, and joins the South Georgia Catfish team. Along the way, Russ discovers deeper truths about himself.

The ensemble cast includes Steve Zahn, Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, and Frankie A. Rodriguez.

Earlier this year, "Chad Powers" was recognized by TVLine as one of the most underrated shows of 2025.
