Chris Pratt Remembers First Encounter with Katherine Schwarzenegger at Church with His Son Jack: 'The Rest Is History'

Chris Pratt has shared the true story of how he met his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger. The Jurassic World star opened up about his faith and career during an interview on Fox & Friends with co-host Steve Doocy.

Contrary to earlier reports suggesting that Schwarzenegger's mother, Maria Shriver, introduced them, Pratt explained that their first encounter happened naturally at a church service. "I was at a church in Hollywood, and I looked over, and I saw her," Pratt recounted. "And I know youre not supposed to be, like, checking out girls at church, but Im only human. And I thought, Wow, shes really cute.

At the time, Pratt was also picking up his eldest son, Jack, from a church program. Jack, who was 13 at the time of the interview, met Katherine alongside his dad, unaware that she would become his stepmother within a year.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger married in June 2019 in Montecito, California, in a private ceremony, less than a year after his divorce from Anna Faris was finalized. Together, Pratt and Schwarzenegger have three children: daughters Lyla, 5, and Eloise, 3, and son Ford, who just turned 1.

The church setting resonates with Pratt, who has been vocal about his spiritual journey, particularly during challenging moments with his son Jack, who faced serious health issues early in life. "When you're in those kinds of moments in your life, there's a lot of prayer and contemplation," Pratt reflected. "The tectonic plates of my spiritual life really shifted beneath me, and I emerged much closer to God than I was before."
