Country Ever After' Star Criscilla Anderson Passes Away at the Age of 45

Criscilla Anderson, known for her role in the 2020 Netflix reality series Country Ever After, passed away on December 2 after a seven-year struggle with colon cancer. She was 45 years old.

In addition to her television work, Anderson was a professional dancer and served as a choreographer for the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. She was previously married to country singer Coffey Anderson, known for hits such as Mr. Red White and Blue and Better Today.

Coffey Anderson honored her memory on Instagram, writing, Criscilla defined strength and was a fighter like no other. Heaven gained a star today. We miss you already. Our hearts are shattered. The house is quieter without you, but the children remain strong. Dance your heart out on the beach in heaven.

Anderson was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018 and openly shared her journey with fans on Instagram and through the Netflix series. Her close friend and photographer, Lindsey, shared news of her passing and included Criscillas final words: If youre reading this, Ive finally slipped into the arms of Jesus peacefully and surrounded by love. Please dont stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone Im Home.

She added a personal message to her children, saying, My babies I am watching over you. When a moment feels warm, familiar, or too beautiful to be coincidence thats me. Im still mothering you. Im still yours. #everybutterfly. Coffeys tribute also recalled her words: If you see a butterfly, that will be me. If you miss me, a butterfly will show up. Remember.Ill be there with you.

Criscilla and Coffey were married in 2009 and had three children together. Criscillas Instagram indicated that she had been going through a divorce prior to her passing, but their posts showed the enduring love and special moments shared with their family.

Her final message to loved ones concluded with gratitude and care: Be gentle with each other. Hold my children close. And remember: heaven isnt as far away as it feels.
