Criscilla Anderson, star of "Country Ever After" and talented dancer, passes away at the age of 45

Criscilla Anderson, renowned dancer, choreographer, and former partner of country musician Coffey Anderson, has passed away at the age of 45 after battling colon cancer. Her close friend and photographer, Lindsey Villatoro, shared the news on Instagram, including a pre-written message from Anderson herself: "Please don't stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone... I'm Home."

Throughout her career, Anderson worked as a choreographer for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and performed as a backup dancer for major artists including Britney Spears, Rihanna, and Snoop Dogg. She gained wider recognition starring alongside Coffey Anderson and their three children on the Netflix reality series Country Ever After, which documented their family life and Coffey's music career.

Villatoro reflected on her time supporting Anderson: "I promised Criscilla I would walk this journey with her whenever she couldnt stand on her own two feet, and I pray she knows how fiercely she was loved. Being by her side until the very end was the greatest honor of my life." Andersons message to her loved ones included heartfelt words to her children, her circle of friends, and her family: "Be gentle with each other. Hold my children close. And remember: heaven isn't as far away as it feels."

Fans and fellow celebrities shared their condolences online. Viola Davis wrote, "Just devastating. Really. I never stopped praying and will continue to pray for her family, her children and for her name to continue to be spoken. God's got her." Todd Chrisley added, "Heartbroken is an understatement, rest well my beautiful friend, you will be loved and thought of always."

Criscilla and Coffey met at a church in Los Angeles in 2007 and married in 2009. Coffey filed for divorce in 2022, which remains pending. In a tribute on Instagram, Coffey described Criscilla as a fighter and said, "Heaven gained a star today. We miss you already. Our hearts are shattered. Our minds are jumbled. Our lives will never be the same."

Andersons work as a choreographer and dancer, along with her presence on Country Ever After, left a lasting impact on fans and colleagues alike. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018, a battle she shared openly with the public and chronicled on the reality show, inspiring many with her courage and love for her family.
