‘Cross’ Enlists Michelle C. Bonilla for Season 2

The second season of Cross, Ben Watkins crime drama on Prime Video, will premiere on February 11, introducing Michelle C. Bonilla (Batman: Caped Crusader, 9-1-1: Lone Star) in a recurring role. The first three episodes will be available immediately, with subsequent episodes released weekly on Wednesdays, culminating with the finale on March 18.

Adapted from James Pattersons bestselling Alex Cross novels, the series follows Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross, a gifted homicide detective and forensic psychologist with a rare talent for understanding the minds of killers.

Season 2 follows Cross as he confronts a merciless vigilante targeting corrupt billionaire figures. Bonilla portrays Clare, a resilient woman shaped by lifes challenges, who is fiercely protective of Rebecca, the niece she raised. Clare is both nurturing and formidable, unafraid to take action when necessary.

The Washington, D.C.-set show will also feature newcomers Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason, and Wes Chatham, alongside returning cast members Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill. Creator Watkins will also appear in the upcoming season.

Alongside Watkins and Hodge, the series is executive produced by Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Craig Siebels, Owen Shiflett, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa. Production is handled by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios.

Bonillas recent roles include recurring parts as Sara Ortiz on Foxs 9-1-1: Lone Star and Ava Diaz on Prime Videos On Call. She has guest-starred on Greys Anatomy, The Rookie, High Potential, and For All Mankind. In animation, she voices Detective Rene Montoya in Batman: Caped Crusader (Seasons 1 and 2) and played Mrs. Flores on Nickelodeons Emmy-winning The Casagrandes. Additionally, she appeared in episodes of Netflixs Love, Death & Robots.
