Dua Lipa Concludes Tour with a Selena Quintanilla Cover—Here's a Recap of Her Latin American Tributes

Dua Lipa has officially wrapped up her globe-spanning "Future Nostalgia" arena tour, concluding a journey that took her from Southeast Asia to Australia, Europe, the United States, and finally Latin America. The tour's finale in Mexico City featured dazzling gold outfits, emotional moments, and a series of unique musical tributes.

Throughout her tour, Lipa combined her chart-topping hits with covers of iconic local artists, creating a distinctive homage to each citys music scene. Highlights included her rendition of Lordes "Royals" in New Zealand, a joint performance with Charli XCX in London, and channeling Enrique Iglesias in Madrid, often singing in languages she had learned specifically for the shows.

Reflecting on the process, Lipa told Variety, I practice all day, repeating them over and over. I spend time reading lyrics as I listen, trying to memorize every word. Then I just trust myself to deliver it. Her dedication was especially visible in Latin America, where she performed fluently in Spanish and Portuguese.
