‘Euphoria’ Reveals Season 3 Premiere Date with Sam Levinson Hinting at Character Endings: ‘Cassie and Nate Tie the Knot’

After years of anticipation, fans of Euphoria finally have a date to mark on their calendars: Season 3 is scheduled to premiere on HBO this April, over four years after the Season 2 finale.

The new season brings back the series original ensemble alongside some fresh faces. Returning cast members include Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Colman Domingo, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, and Nika King. Additional cast includes Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Melvin Bonez Estes, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steiner.

Creator Sam Levinson revealed details about where the story picks up at a recent HBO Max presentation in London. Five years felt natural because characters who went to college would now be finishing up or have finished, Levinson explained. Rues story begins in Mexico, where she struggles with debt and devises creative ways to repay it. Meanwhile, Cassie and Nate are living in the suburbs, engaged, and navigating Cassies growing social media obsession and envy of her peers seemingly glamorous lives.

Levinson also shared updates on other characters: Jules is in art school, anxious about her future as a painter, and Maddy has relocated to Hollywood, balancing work at a talent agency with her personal projects. The season introduces new guest stars including Sharon Stone, Rosala, Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, and Marshawn Lynch.

Other additions to the cast are Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Kadeem Hardison, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hbert, Anna Van Patten, Asante Blackk, Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Rebecca Pidgeon, and Sam Trammell. Notably, Austin Abrams, Algee Smith, Storm Reid, and Barbie Ferreira will not return, and Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, passed away in 2023.

Euphoria continues to explore the intense lives of teenagers confronting addiction, love, crime, and betrayal. The series has grown into an HBO phenomenon, launching the careers of many of its young stars and becoming one of the networks most-watched shows.
