Exclusive: Caitlin O'Connor Shares the Moment She Knew Joe Manganiello Was 'The One'

Caitlin OConnor has opened up about the unforgettable instant when she knew her fianc, Joe Manganiello, was meant to be her life partner. The couple, who were first connected romantically in 2023, became engaged in October and have since returned to their hometown of Pittsburgh.

According to OConnor, the defining moment happened as they were walking hand in hand through a crowded area. When someone attempted to push between them, Manganiello refused to let their hands be separated. His protective and caring gesture made her realize he was truly the one for her.

After spending years living in Los Angeles, the couple recently relocated to Mount Lebanon in Pittsburgh. Growing up in the same city gave them a deeper sense of connection, and OConnor says returning home together especially during the holiday season has been incredibly meaningful.

She describes the neighborhood as charming and picturesque, calling it one of the most beautiful areas she has ever seen. Being back in a familiar environment, surrounded by shared history, has made their new chapter even more special.

Their strong bond continues to grow, and OConnor admits that even simple moments, like watching Manganiello clear snow from their driveway, remind her of how much she admires him.

For the holidays, the couple is expecting a large family gathering, as relatives are traveling to Pittsburgh or already living nearby. They have also begun building their own traditions, including collecting ornaments and artwork from the many places they have traveled together.

Since meeting, OConnor and Manganiello have visited more than 70 cities, bringing home meaningful keepsakes from around the world. Their shared love for travel and art has become one of the cornerstones of their relationship.

Romance rumors first followed the pair in September 2023, and they confirmed their relationship in December of that same year. They reportedly met through a mutual friend and have been inseparable ever since, spending as much time together as possible.
