Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 14: Adonai Mitchell and Dontayvion Wicks have breakout performances

Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season has wrapped up, and for many fantasy football leagues, this is the last chance to make waiver claims before the playoffs. Heres a look at the top available players in over half of Yahoo leagues to consider for Week 14.

Quarterbacks

Taylor has only started three games this season but has already delivered QB8, QB15, and QB5 finishes (pending Monday Night Football). Hes rushed for at least 40 yards twice and thrown a touchdown in all starts, making him a strong QB2 option against Miami.

Shough is averaging 13.6 fantasy points per game as the Saints starter, hovering on the QB2/3 border. With Tampa Bay giving up the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, he could be a useful streamer, especially in 2QB or Superflex formats.

Tua has struggled, averaging only 11.3 fantasy points over his last seven games with a single QB1 finish. However, his Week 14 matchup against the Jets, who rank 27th in EPA per dropback allowed, offers a potential bounce-back opportunity.

Running Backs

Rodriguez has become the lead back for Washington, carrying the ball 26 times over the past two weeks compared to 13 for Jacory Croskey-Merritt. With Jayden Daniels expected to return, Rodriguez is shaping up as a potential RB3 for the fantasy playoffs.

Singletary could see an expanded role after Tyrone Tracy left Mondays game with a hip injury. Singletary already posted 12 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown with three catches for 34 yards. New Yorks run-heavy approach under Mike Kafka could provide him significant volume down the stretch.

Knight has scored in three consecutive games and led the Cardinals in carries during that span, while his receiving role is also increasing. Michael Carter adds PPR value with 13 catches over three games.

Allgeier now has eight rushing touchdowns this season, surpassing Bijan Robinsons five. He has been particularly effective in the red zone and is available in many leagues.

Corum has consistently seen at least seven carries in six straight games and accounts for 38% of team carries since Week 9. Perine returned last week, taking a 41% snap share and 47% of carries, providing potential upside in a pass-first offense.

Wide Receivers

Adonai Mitchell broke out in Week 13 with 8 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown, backed by 163 air yards. Over three games with the Jets, he has a 30% target share and 60% air yards share, signaling WR1 potential.

Dontayvion Wicks stepped up while Matthew Golden was out, posting six receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns. He becomes a fantasy option if Golden and Jayden Reed remain sidelined.

Vele has shown promise for the Saints, converting a high-target game into 8 catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. Higgins has been consistent, hitting double-digit PPR points in five of his last seven games, with a 59% route rate and 20% target share.

Tight Ends

Strange returned from IR and has earned 18% of Jacksonvilles targets and 22% of air yards over two games, with a route rate increase to 81% in Week 13.

Likely posted 5 catches for 95 yards on Thanksgiving, becoming a potential TE2 with a 23% target share since Week 9. Schultz leads available tight ends in scoring and target share, ranking TE10 on the year, making him a must-add in many formats.
