Former HGTV Star Sabrina Soto Ties the Knot with Nathan Whitney in a California Vineyard Wedding with an 'Organic Elegance' Theme (Exclusive)

Interior designer Sabrina Soto and MLB physical therapist Nathan Whitney exchanged vows in a heartfelt and intentionally small ceremony on December 1 at a scenic avocado farm and vineyard in California. The couple welcomed just 32 guests, emphasizing intimacy and presence over grandeur.

"Quality over quantity guided every decision. We didnt want to perform for a crowd we wanted to truly experience the moment," Soto shared.

The 48-year-old HGTV personality was escorted down the aisle by her daughter and wore a stunning wedding dress sourced from eBay. Soto meticulously curated an "organic elegance" theme, creating a celebration that felt intimate, warm, and effortlessly beautiful.

Originally, the plan was to elope with only Soto's daughter, Olivia Gray, in attendance. However, the couple ultimately decided to invite close family and friends, transforming the event into a meaningful gathering that balanced a ceremony with a relaxed, dinner-party atmosphere.

"We wanted something authentic, not just visually striking for photos," Soto explained. "It was important to us that the event felt full of love, not formality."

The couple focused on natural elements, incorporating warm neutrals, abundant greenery, candlelight, and an overall organic vibe. Soto described the location as grounded and romantic, surrounded by trees and vineyards, perfectly reflecting their style.

During the ceremony, Sotos daughter played a dual role as maid of honor and ring bearer, and Fleetwood Mac's "Songbird" accompanied the bride down the aisle. Soto's hair was styled by Laura Koski, and her dress, a remarkable find on eBay, was originally discovered during a bridal appointment and fortuitously located nearby through the online listing.

The ceremony highlighted personal vows, symbolizing the merging of their lives. "Marriage is about choosing partnership every single day," Soto said. "Its not about the wedding, its about the life were building together."

Following the vows, guests enjoyed an Italian-inspired, farm-to-table dinner featuring seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, followed by a wedding cake from Bread Basket, specially prepared for the occasion despite the bakery being normally closed on Mondays.

The couple, who got engaged in January after a memorable escape room proposal, shared their first dance to Billy Joel's "I Love You Just the Way You Are." Soto and Whitney initially connected online years earlier, but circumstances delayed their meeting until fate brought them together in California.

"Our first date was effortless laughter, conversation, and no pretense," Soto recalled. "Timing was everything, and it felt meant to be."

Looking forward, the newlyweds are focused on building a life centered on family, shared passions, and home traditions. "Marriage is the next chapter in what weve already created together," Soto said. "The priority is connection with each other, our daughter, and our loved ones."
