Gwen Stefani aims for a 'truly nostalgic' No Doubt residency

Gwen Stefani is bringing holiday cheer early this year for herself and her fans. The pop icon is set to reunite with her band No Doubt for a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, owned by MSG. Alongside this, she has released a new Christmas track, Shake the Snow Globe, featured in a holiday movie, and her 2017 album You Make It Feel Like Christmas has been reissued in a deluxe edition.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Stefani shared her excitement about the upcoming residency. Were thrilled, she told Fallon. After our 2024 Coachella performance, which was incredible, we had been discussing a big project for a while. The Sphere feels like the perfect mix between a concert and a cinematic experience.

Initially, 12 shows were scheduled for May 2026, all of which sold out immediately. Due to high demand, an additional six performances have been added for June, marking the final dates of the residency.

No Doubt, originating from Anaheim, California in 1986, became a defining pop-rock band of the 1990s. Their album Tragic Kingdom topped the Billboard 200 for nine weeks and remains one of five top 10 albums in their career. The group has won two Grammy Awards, received nine nominations, and scored eight Billboard Hot 100 hits. After nearly 30 years together, No Doubt took a hiatus in the mid-2010s while Stefani pursued her solo career.

Stefani hopes the residency will transport fans back in time. I want the shows to feel truly nostalgic, like stepping into a time machine. Its about reliving those moments together, she explained. The band is already planning the setlist and show details, promising a memorable experience for attendees.

Since their 2015 hiatus, No Doubt has only performed twice, most recently at the 2025 FireAid benefit concert in January.

As the holidays approach, Stefani is embracing the season. Her reissued album You Make It Feel Like Christmas features two new tracks, including Shake the Snow Globe from the film Oh. What. Fun. She also shared her excitement about meeting the films stars, Michelle Pfeiffer and Denis Leary, describing the encounter as surreal. Stefani performed the new song for Fallons audience, spreading festive cheer.
