Kayla Sentell and Trenton Miller, who ended their 12-year on-and-off high school romance in February 2024, found their way back to each other in an unexpected waythrough Spotify playlists. The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas on November 13, crediting the music platform for rekindling their love.

Eight months after their breakup, Sentell wanted to reconnect but knew Miller was off social media like she was. She decided to explore his Spotify account, discovering a playlist titled "alasKa". The songs felt deeply personal, and the capitalized "K" suggested it was meant for her. Feeling a mix of excitement, hope, and anxiety, she created her own playlist called "This is about you", incorporating some of his songs and ending with three tracks that spelled out a message: "If You See This," "Call Me," "I Wanna Be Yours."

Miller, who had made a playlist for himself reflecting on their past relationship, noticed her message and responded in kind with his playlist ending with "If You See This," "Speak Now," "I Want You Back." Seeing his response on November 3, 2024, Sentell called him, and they officially reunited.

About a year later, the couple became engaged. Miller proposed surrounded by letters they had exchanged over the years, representing the decades of their relationship in various phasesfrom friends to dating and moments of silence.

Just weeks before their wedding, Sentell shared their story with Spotify, thanking the platform for connecting them. The music service surprised the couple at their Las Vegas ceremony with a personalized video from Teddy Swims, featuring one of the songs from Sentell's playlist, "You're Still The One."

Today, Sentell and Miller continue to update the playlists that helped reunite them, cherishing the musical timeline of their love story.
