How to Watch Karol G's TV Special 'La Premiere' Inspired by 'Tropicoqueta'

Karol G is launching a brand-new television event titled La Premiere, just in time for the holiday season, as announced by TelevisaUnivision on December 4. Produced by Bichota Films, this one-hour special offers fans an immersive visual journey celebrating her hit album Tropicoqueta, which reached No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums Chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 this past July.

Filmed in multiple locations including Mexico City, Los Angeles, Cartagena, and Medelln, La Premiere features fresh arrangements and exclusive performances of songs from the album. Highlights include an acoustic rendition of Coleccionando Heridas with Marco Antonio Sols and over 200 fans, as well as a surprise performance of Tu Perfume at Medellns iconic Pueblito Paisa. Other notable locations include Teatro Heredia in Cartagena, Olaya Herrera Airport in Medelln, and LA Hangar Studios in Los Angeles.

The special also showcases guest appearances from artists like Mariah Angeliq and Eddy Lover. Karol G shared her excitement on Instagram, stating that after a year of creative work, she is finally ready to present the universe of Tropicoqueta through energy, visuals, and her personal vision. She described La Premiere as a dream come true, designed to bring families together to celebrate, dance, and enjoy the show from their living rooms, reminiscent of past festive TV traditions.

La Premiere will broadcast at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, December 7 on Univision in the United States and on ViX Premium in the U.S., Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
