Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were inseparable and deeply in love at the event (Exclusive)

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were seen sharing affectionate moments during a recent New York City event. On Monday, December 1, the duo attended the 35th Annual Gotham Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street, where Jackman, 57, was honored with a musical tribute alongside his co-star Kate Hudson for their work in Song Sung Blue.

Footage shared on Instagram captured the pair laughing and chatting, with Jackman gently touching Fosters hand and rubbing her arm.

They seemed completely smitten with each other, a source told Star. Their eyes never strayed from one another, and they remained together the entire evening.

Jackman looked sharp in a traditional suit and tie, while Foster impressed in a black sequin dress paired with a white coat and matching pumps.

The couple previously starred together in the 20222023 Broadway revival of The Music Man, going public with their relationship in January. Timing and consideration for previous relationships played a role, but they felt ready to be together, an insider explained in March.

Earlier in 2023, after 27 years of marriage, Jackman separated from his wife Deborra Lee Furness, with whom he shares two children, Oscar, 25, and Ava, 20. Their divorce was finalized in June 2025. Foster also filed for divorce from her husband Ted Griffin in October 2024; they share a daughter, Emily, aged 7.
