Despite making an impressive $2 million on OnlyFans, India Love decided to leave the platform, leaving many fans curious about her departure. In a recent discussion, she revealed the motivations behind her choice, explaining that the work carried certain perceptions she didnt want to be associated with.
During a livestream with professional boxer Ryan Garcia, India Westbrooks, known professionally as India Love, shared that although her content was tasteful and artistic, the stigma around OnlyFans creators in professional and social circles bothered her. She also felt trapped by the constant male attention, where her appearance was often prioritized over her individuality.
Love expressed regret over her time on OnlyFans and wished she had pursued a different career path. The decision to leave intensified when her content began reaching family members. They were sending images to my nephews, and I knew I had to stop, she explained. When Garcia asked why people would do that, she replied simply, People are strange.
She elaborated on the situation, saying, Some people, living difficult lives, do bizarre things. But what really made me quit was when it involved my family. My little brother started getting into fights at school. It was just too much.
Following her exit from OnlyFans, India Love is exploring new creative ventures, including streaming on Twitch and pursuing other projects. Regarding her personal life, she confirmed she is currently single, stating, No, no boyfriend. I think thats how it should be.
Addressing rumors about a relationship with DDG, Love clarified, We were good friends. We were never in a relationship. While speculation about their romantic involvement circulated during the summer, both confirmed that it was merely a flirtationship.
Analysis: India Love's Decision to Leave OnlyFans
India Love’s departure from OnlyFans, despite her success on the platform, highlights a significant shift in her personal and professional priorities. Earning $2 million from the platform, the decision to leave might seem surprising at first. However, Love’s explanation reveals deeper motivations rooted in both social perception and personal discomfort.
One of the main factors contributing to her exit was the stigma surrounding OnlyFans creators. Although she described her content as “tasteful and artistic,” the negative associations in both professional and social circles became too much for her to ignore. The constant male attention and the objectification of her appearance over her individuality further fueled her decision. As Love put it, “It just wasn’t worth it anymore.”
Another key reason was the impact her work had on her family. Love expressed regret over her time on OnlyFans, especially when her content began reaching her relatives. Her family members, including her nephews, were exposed to her images, leading to difficult situations such as her younger brother getting into fights at school. For Love, this was the turning point. “When it involved my family, I had to stop,” she admitted.
Since leaving the platform, Love has turned her attention to new creative ventures, including streaming on Twitch. She has also distanced herself from rumors about her personal life, clarifying that she is currently single and was never in a relationship with rapper DDG, despite speculation to the contrary.
India Love’s decision to leave OnlyFans underscores the personal toll that fame, online identity, and public perceptions can have. While her career may have been lucrative, it came at the cost of her peace of mind and family dynamics. As she continues to explore new avenues, her story serves as a reminder of the complexities that come with online fame and the need to prioritize personal well-being over external validation.
