Jennifer Lopez to Remove Tattoo Inspired by Ex Ben Affleck

According to the Instagram gossip account DeuxMoi, Jennifer Lopez has recently modified a tattoo that previously honored her former husband, Ben Affleck. The tattoo, an infinity symbol featuring both of their names, was originally inked on Valentines Day 2023.

Instead of completely removing the tattoo, Lopez is said to have transformed it into a new design that no longer displays Afflecks name. Reports suggest that she replaced his name with a hummingbird motif, cleverly concealing the original ink.

This isnt the only tattoo the singer got during her relationship with Affleck. Around the same period, she also had two crossed arrows tattooed, which included their initials, J and B.

Fans quickly reacted to the news on social media. Comments ranged from amusement to critique, with some noting, Thank God she finally changed that old tattoo, while others mused about moving on from the Bennifer saga. Reactions also included surprise from those unaware that Lopez had the tattoo in the first place.

Lopez and Afflecks relationship has seen several chapters. After initially ending their engagement in 2004, they reunited in 2021 and married the following year. By August 2024, Lopez filed for divorce, which was finalized earlier in 2025. In an interview with GQ in March 2025, Affleck commented on their split, emphasizing there was no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue, describing it as a normal process of people navigating their lives and relationships.
