Jessica Simpson Shares Rare Photo with Her Kids and Ex Husband After Surprise Thanksgiving Reunion

Jessica Simpson recently posted a charming photo featuring her three children gathered around the family Christmas tree. The pop star and actress shares Maxwell, Ace, and Birdie with her estranged husband, Eric Johnson. The couple married in 2014 and announced their separation earlier this year.

This holiday season, Simpson is cherishing moments with her children as they helped her decorate the Christmas tree. She later shared a sweet family photo on Instagram, capturing the trio in front of their festive creation.

"Christmas time is here!" Simpson captioned the image. "The magic of December for my kids has always been about love, excitement, hope, happiness, grace, and pure JOY! Wishing everyone many blessings this season ."

Since parting ways, Simpson and Johnson have focused on co-parenting. "Eric and I have been living separately and navigating a difficult period in our marriage," Simpson shared. "Our children are our top priority, and we are concentrating on what is best for them. We are grateful for all the love and support and ask for privacy as we work through this together as a family."

Following the separation, Simpson returned to her music career. In March, she released Nashville Canyon: Part 1, her first record in over ten years, which was created amid the split. Reflecting on the timing, she said, "I faced an unexpected twist of fate while making this record. My heart was broken, but I had to keep my focus on the music. Thank God for Nashville."

Recently, Simpson and Johnson reunited for a "family-first" Thanksgiving at her mother's house. "Hes my kids father. No matter what, your child is always part of the other person," she explained. "Its important to show respect in what you say around them so they grow up with a positive perspective. Unconditional love matters."
