Jimmy Fallon shocks with controversial comment on Melania Trump's holiday decorations

First Lady Melania Trump revealed the White Houses holiday decorations for 2025 on Monday, December 1. During his segment on The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon expressed mixed feelings about the festive setup. He noted that this years display features 51 Christmas trees and 2,000 strands of lights. While he acknowledged the effort, Fallon added, Its nice, but I kind of wish there was a little more excitement.

Fallon playfully suggested incorporating elements from President Donald Trumps cognitive test into the Nativity scene. Imitating the President, he said, Baby Jesus in a manger and then a cow and a dinosaur.

He pushed the joke further, suggesting, What if the Advent calendar revealed a name from the Epstein list behind each door? The comment elicited audible gasps and laughter from the studio audience. Fallon continued with more humor, proposing, Why not swap the Elf on the Shelf for Marco Rubio?

Despite the jokes, Fallon admired one aspect of the display: a gingerbread White House constructed from 120 pounds of gingerbread. And just like the real White House, Trump demolished half of it in a single weekend, he quipped, referencing renovations in the Presidents ballroom. The East Wing was delicious!

The official theme for the 2025 White House Christmas is Home Is Where The Heart Is. Fallon reminded viewers of Melanias past candid remarks about the holiday, referencing a 2018 leaked audio clip in which she said, Who gives a f*** about Christmas stuff?

Melania shared the decorations on social media, posting a short video of herself touring the White House among the Christmas trees and ornaments. She wrote on X: Home Is Where the Heart Is AMERICAS CHRISTMAS. This Christmas, lets celebrate the love we hold within ourselves and share it with the world around us. After all, wherever we are, we can create a home filled with endless possibilities.
