This week, Google announced that Jimmy Kimmel ranked as the third most searched person worldwide for 2025. On Thursday, the late-night host playfully credited one person for helping him achieve the milestone: former President Donald Trump.

Kimmel quipped, I just want to acknowledge that none of this would have happened without support from devoted viewers like President Trump, who has done so much this year to promote our show. He added, Thank you, Mr. President, for helping me reach No. 3 in the world.

Over the years, Trump has repeatedly criticized Kimmels sharp jokes about him, labeling the comedian a bum and calling for his removal from television. Tensions escalated in September when Kimmel was briefly suspended by ABC after his comments following the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk were seized on by conservative commentators.

Trump initially celebrated Kimmels suspension, but the host returned to the air after public backlash against the networks decision. Kimmels playful remark about his Google ranking continues the long-running comedic rivalry between the late-night star and the former president.
