The Jonas Brothers are making their way back to camp. On Thursday, Disney released the initial teaser for the highly anticipated third film in the Camp Rock franchise.
The trailer opens with a nostalgic montage: a yellow school bus, empty cabins, and still canoes, accompanied by audio clips from the 2008 and 2010 films. Gradually, Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas appear on screen. Music, friendship, memories, Nick reflects, gazing at the lake with his brothers, while Joe adds, Were back exactly where were supposed to be! Kevin injects humor with, Still no birdhouse! before the trailer introduces the new Camp Rock 3 cast.
Executive produced by the Jonas Brothers alongside Demi Lovato, who played Mitchie Torres in the first two films, Camp Rock 3 features performances by Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Sherry Cola, and Liamani Segura. The Jonas Brothers reprise their roles in the fictional band Connect 3, and Maria Canals-Barrera returns as Connie Torres, Mitchies mother. Demi Lovatos participation in the film has not been confirmed.
Camp Rock 3 is scheduled to premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ in summer 2026. Filming wrapped on November 1, shortly before the release of A Very Jonas Christmas Movie on Hulu and Disney+, which included a soundtrack that reached No. 17 on the Holiday Albums chart with 10 original songs.
Earlier this year, the Jonas Brothers surprised fans by bringing Demi Lovato on stage at their 20th-anniversary tour stop at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Together, they performed Camp Rock classics, including Wouldnt Change a Thing and This Is Me, the latter having previously reached No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Author’s Analysis: Returning to Camp Rock
The teaser for Camp Rock 3 confirms that Disney is leaning heavily on nostalgia while introducing a new generation of talent. Seeing the Jonas Brothers reprise their roles emphasizes continuity for long-time fans, while the inclusion of fresh cast members like Malachi Barton and Lumi Pollack signals a clear attempt to attract younger viewers.
Notably, Demi Lovato’s involvement remains unconfirmed, despite her role as executive producer and her on-stage reunion with the brothers earlier this year. This uncertainty will likely fuel speculation and fan interest leading up to the summer 2026 release.
From a production standpoint, the timing aligns with the Jonas Brothers’ other recent projects, including A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, suggesting a strategic push to maintain their media presence and leverage the popularity of their music within film and streaming platforms.
