Julia Roberts and Richard Gere Share 'Unbreakable Bond,' 'Eager' to Collaborate Again (Exclusive)

Julia Roberts and Richard Gere are reportedly looking forward to joining forces on screen once more. A source revealed that Roberts holds him in high regard and often seeks his perspective on a script before committing. The source added, She finds him brilliant and would love another opportunity to work together, though the perfect project has yet to arise.

Despite the delay, the source emphasized that neither star has given up hope. Both of their teams are aware that they are actively seeking a project together, the insider said. Its something they both deeply wish to make happen.

The duo, known for their iconic performances in Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride, reportedly share a bond described as unbreakable and akin to a sibling relationship, having supported each other through three decades of personal and professional highs and lows.

Although Gere, 76, relocated to Spain in November 2024 with his wife, Alejandra Silva, and their two sons, Alexander, 6, and James, 5, the source noted that he and Roberts, 58, have maintained frequent contact. Even with Richard based in Europe, Julia has visited often, so theyve actually spent more time together recently, the source explained.

The insider also mentioned that Roberts, married to Daniel Moder since 2002, and Gere prefer to keep their meetings private. They like to stay low-key and avoid unnecessary attention, though both of their spouses are aware of their get-togethers, the source added.
