Dever, who played Eve Baxter, the youngest daughter of Mike Baxter, starred in the first six seasons of Last Man Standing before her character joined the Air Force Academy, then made recurring appearances throughout the final three seasons.

The official Shifting Gears Instagram shared a behind-the-scenes clip capturing Devers surprise visit, revealing Allens priceless reaction upon seeing his former on-screen daughter. While Dever isnt currently part of Shifting Gears, her visit highlighted the enduring bond she shares with Allen. Allen himself commented on the reunion on X, delighting fans who may be inspired to revisit Last Man Standing.

Although Dever has been busy with multiple projects, her willingness to drop by the set shows the affection she still holds for her longtime co-star. Many fans noted that the moment would have been even more touching if Nancy Travis had been present, completing the on-screen family reunion.
