White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has revealed her love for pop superstar Taylor Swift, despite the artists well-known clashes with former President Donald Trump. On Wednesday, Leavitt shared her most-streamed music on Spotify, highlighting Swift as her fifth most-played artist.

Leavitts top spot went to country singer Morgan Wallen, followed by Christian artist Forrest Frank in second. The third and fourth positions were held by worship singers Brandon Lake and Anne Wilson. She posted the list on her Instagram stories, where Swifts placement drew particular attention because of her public disagreements with Trump.

As Trumps chief spokesperson, Leavitt has occasionally been drawn into these disputes. The most recent incident dates back to August, when Trump praised actress Sydney Sweeney for being a registered Republican, contrasting her American Eagle campaign with a woke Jaguar advertisement featuring a pink electric car and androgynous models. This situation led him to bring up Swift, who is openly politically liberal.

On social media, Trump criticized Swift, claiming her popularity had declined due to her political stance. During a press conference, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Leavitt about Trumps comments. She responded with a smile, acknowledging his perspective while lightly defending her personal taste: He is speaking about Taylor Swifts political views and how perhaps it has impacted the support of the American public for her work, and I will leave it at that.

Leavitt also shared her Spotify Wrapped on Instagram, confirming her admiration for the 14-time Grammy winner. Trump first expressed disdain for Swift after she endorsed Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, and he has referenced her multiple times since. Leavitt herself has previously commented on Swifts political influence, noting that the singers public persona and career choices have been intertwined with her views on elections.
