Theme park attractions shine when they let visitors step directly into the worlds of their favorite films, offering experiences far more vivid than any screen can provide. But how does it feel for an actor who actually starred in the movie? Ke Huy Quan recently gave us a glimpse during a trip to Disneyland with his Zootopia 2 co-star Ginnifer Goodwin.

Earlier, Quan and Goodwin appeared in a Disney Parks Instagram video showing that the character Clawhauser from Zootopia was joining photo spots at Disney California Adventure. A new video reveals that the duo also visited Disneyland itself, taking on the Indiana Jones Adventure ride. True to form, Quan wore the iconic hat associated with his beloved character, Short Round, making the experience all the more authentic.

The adventure was a delight to watch, and its easy to imagine Indiana Jones himself giving a nod of approval. The only minor letdown? Quan didnt keep his hat on during the ride, likely due to safety instructions from a Cast Member.

Before his recent breakout in Everything Everywhere All At Once, Quan was best known for playing Indiana Jones' loyal sidekick in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. His performance remains one of the standout moments in that underrated chapter of the franchise.

On the ride, Quan and Goodwin tried to follow a playful no reaction rule. Riders are cast as explorers entering the Temple of the Forbidden Eye after Indiana Jones himself, encountering snakes, insects, and poison darts, while catching glimpses of Indy along the way. Quan ultimately broke the rule when a sudden burst of compressed air, simulating a dart, startled hima reaction anyone would understand!

While Short Round isnt officially part of the Indiana Jones Adventure, theres always hope for his inclusion in the future. A new Indiana Jones attraction, modeled after the Disneyland version but featuring a fresh storyline, is planned to replace Dinosaur at Disneys Animal Kingdom in the upcoming Tropical Americas land, with work scheduled to begin early next year. Perhaps Quan will return, hat in hand, to tackle this next adventure.
