Keke Palmer is set to star in 'The 'Burbs' this winter, with all eight episodes of the mystery series debuting on Peacock on Sunday, February 8, the streaming service confirmed Thursday. (Check out the teaser trailer above.)
Based on the 1989 film of the same name, 'The 'Burbs' follows a young coupleportrayed by Palmer, known from Nope, and Jack Whitehall, recognized from Bad Educationwho have reluctantly moved into the husband's childhood neighborhood.
According to the official synopsis: "Their world is disrupted when a new neighbor arrives, unearthing old secrets of the cul-de-sac and introducing deadly threats that challenge the peace of their quiet community."
Alongside Palmer and Whitehall, the series features Julia Duffy (Newhart), Paula Pell (Girls5eva), Mark Proksch (What We Do in the Shadows), and Kapil Talwalkar (Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist).
