Kevin Jonas Joins his Brothers Joe & Nick on the Billboard Charts Solo

Kevin Jonas has officially joined his brothers, Joe and Nick, in making solo appearances on the Billboard charts. His latest single, "Changing", marks his first solo entry, debuting at No. 5 on the Digital Song Sales chart for the week of December 6, 2025, with 4,000 downloads sold in the U.S. from November 21-27, according to Luminate. The track also earned Kevin a No. 5 debut on the Emerging Artists chart, giving him his first solo recognition on Billboard rankings.

While Kevin has long been known as a member of the Jonas Brothers, this achievement places him alongside Joe and Nick in solo chart history. Nick Jonas first charted individually on December 11, 2004, with "Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)", which reached No. 31 on the Adult Contemporary airplay chart and later climbed to No. 14. It also peaked at No. 8 on Hot Christian Songs, predating the Jonas Brothers' group debut.

The Jonas Brothers themselves made their chart debut in August 2006 with their album Its About Time entering the Billboard 200 at No. 91. Their single "Year 3000" later reached No. 31 on the Hot 100. Over the years, the group has charted 26 Hot 100 songs, including three top 10 hits: "Burnin Up" (No. 5), "Tonight" (No. 8), and "Sucker" (No. 1). They have also landed 12 albums on the Billboard 200, with three reaching No. 1.

Nick Jonas returned as a solo artist in 2009 with Who I Am (credited to Nick Jonas & The Administration), with the title track reaching No. 73 on the Hot 100 and the album peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. He has since accumulated eight solo Hot 100 hits, including "Jealous" (No. 7), and four solo albums charting on the Billboard 200.

Joe Jonas has also established a solo presence, debuting on the Hot 100 on July 5, 2008, with his duet "This Is Me" from Camp Rock, which peaked at No. 9. His solo albums, Fastlife and Music for People Who Believe in Love, reached No. 15 and No. 24 on the Billboard 200, respectively. As the frontman of DNCE, Joe scored a No. 9 Hot 100 hit with "Cake by the Ocean" and charted the bands EP and full-length album on the Billboard 200.

With Kevin now charting individually, the Jonas Brothers join the ranks of sibling groups whose members have all had solo Billboard success, a list that includes the Beach Boys, Bee Gees, Chloe x Halle, and the Jackson 5. The youngest Jonas sibling, Franklin Jonas, has yet to chart but has released multiple tracks, most recently "Break the Levee".
