Kim and Kourtney Kardashian Discuss Possibility of Being Robbed Shortly Before Kim's Paris Incident

On the December 4 episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian returned to Paris to testify in a trial involving ten individuals charged in connection with her 2016 robbery. During that October incident, Kim was restrained at gunpoint and robbed of jewelry valued at over $10 million.

Just hours before the robbery, Kim and her sister Kourtney Kardashian had a chilling discussion about what they would do if we were ever getting robbed, Kourtney revealed during the episode. The timing of this conversation added an eerie layer to the traumatic event.

Kim, 45, recounted her experience in Paris during Fashion Week with her sisters and friends, including Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Simone Harouche, and Stephanie Shepherd. Harouche, who was staying in the hotel room below Kims, described hearing sheer terror in Kims voice as the intruders, disguised as police officers, carried out the heist. Kourtney recalled receiving a text from Simone that quoted Kim saying, Take anything you want.

In a confessional, Kourtney, 46, reflected on how uncanny the timing of their pre-robbery conversation was. She said, We had just been talking at lunch about what we would do if we were ever robbed, and we agreed we would tell them, Take whatever you want. It was just surreal that it happened right after that discussion.

During the ordeal, Kim focused on Kourtneys well-being, fearing for her life and recalling that she was sure I was going to be raped during her May testimony. She described saying a prayer and finding comfort in her belief that theres a bigger plan and trusting it was part of Gods plan.

Kim has also expressed gratitude that she, rather than her sisters, was the target of the robbery. Her mother, Kris Jenner, recalled in a past episode, Thank God it happened to her, because if it had happened to anyone else, they wouldnt have been able to survive it the same way. Kim agreed, adding, Im thankful it was me and not one of my sisters, because it would have affected them for life.

Kris also praised Kims resilience, saying, Im so proud of you every day, for the way you live your life. Your heart is beautiful and strong, and people would never say a bad thing about you if they knew that.

New episodes of The Kardashians air Thursdays at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
