Kim Cattrall, renowned for her iconic portrayal of Samantha Jones in the entire run of Sex and the City and its two film adaptations, has tied the knot. The 69-year-old actress married 55-year-old audio engineer Russell Thomas on Thursday at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London, in an intimate gathering of just 12 guests. Cattrall wore a chic Dior ensemble, designed by Patricia Field, the Emmy-winning costume designer of the Sex and the City franchise.

Cattrall and Thomas, both British, first crossed paths in 2016 when she appeared on the BBC radio program Woman's Hour, where Thomas worked. Reflecting on their meeting, Cattrall shared in 2020, "We liked each other, stayed in touch, and then he visited Vancouver. It was a bold move since we barely knew each other, but it went wonderfully, and we've been together ever since."

She praised Thomas for his charisma and humor, saying, "I'm very comfortable around him. He's a firecracker with a wicked sense of humor and easy on the eyes." In a June interview with The Times, Cattrall highlighted his adventurous life and independent spirit, calling him "a bit of a rebel, which I love."

The couple has now shared nearly a decade together, enjoying their time and adventures as a pair. This marriage marks Cattrall's fourth; she was previously wed to writer Larry Davis (19771979), architect Andre Lyson (19821989), and musician Mark Levinson (19982004).

Beyond her legendary role on Sex and the City (19982004), Cattrall's career includes appearances in TV comedies such as Queer as Folk and How I Met Your Father, along with films like Mannequin, Crossroads, The Ghost Writer, Police Academy, and Big Trouble in Little China.
