The cast of Hulus upcoming limited series Count My Lies continues to grow with exciting new additions. Following the announcement of Shailene Woodley joining Lindsay Lohan in the series, Kit Harington has now been confirmed as part of the ensemble.

The show is adapted from Sophie Stavas debut novel, Count My Lies, released in March 2025. The book quickly gained attention, becoming a pick for the Good Morning America book club.

Former This Is Us executive producers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger adapted the book for television, serving as showrunners for the project. Production is handled by 20th Television, The Walk-Up Company, and producers Aptaker, Berger, and Scott Morgan.

About the Story

According to Simon & Schuster, the plot centers on Sloane Caraway, a habitual liar who tells small, seemingly harmless fibs to make her life more interesting. One day, she encounters a young girl in distress at a park and tells the childs fathera strikingly attractive manthat shes a nurse, helping him remove a bee sting. This encounter leads Sloane to become the nanny for the affluent Jay and Violet Lockhart, a New York couple with a private-school daughter and a luxurious lifestyle.

As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Sloane may not be the only one hiding secrets, and beneath the surface of the seemingly perfect family lies a more dangerous reality. The narrative explores how lies can accumulate, creating a complex and twisting web of deception.
