Hulu is expanding the cast of its upcoming limited series Count My Lies, adding Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington in a lead role. He will star opposite Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley.
Harington will portray Jay Lockhart, part of a strikingly attractive and charming married couple in New York, with Lohan playing his wife, Violet.
The series is an adaptation of Sophie Stavas novel and is being developed by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, known for This Is Us and How I Met Your Father. The storyline centers on Sloane Caraway (Woodley), a compulsive liar who secures a nanny position with the Lockharts, only to find herself engulfed in their households hidden secrets, which threaten to erupt with severe consequences.
Hulu greenlit the show in August after months of development. Count My Lies is produced by 20th Television under an overall deal with Aptaker and Berger, who serve as showrunners and executive producers through their Walk-Up Company. Lohan, Woodley, director Antonio Campos, and Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company also executive produce.
Harington recently appeared in Apples film The Family Plan 2 and will return in the fourth season of HBOs Industry as a series regular, following his recurring role in season three. His recent projects include Netflixs Too Much and the 2024 film The Beast Within.
