Kris Jenner showcased her sense of humor on the latest episode of The Kardashians, which premiered Thursday. The 70-year-old reality star engaged in a playful back-and-forth with daughter Kim Kardashian, poking fun at their cosmetic enhancements.
[My nose is] probably the only thing on my face thats real, Jenner quipped, referencing the facelift she underwent earlier this year.
The mother-daughter duo were in Paris when the lighthearted exchange began. While reviewing each others outfits, they quickly shifted to teasing one another about wigs, veneers, and other beauty touches. Kardashian joked about Jenners hair, asking, Do you have your extensions on? to which Jenner shot back, Do you have fake lashes on?
The banter continued, with Jenner questioning her daughters teeth, prompting Kim to respond, Actually, yes but yours? Mine are real. Never had a veneer, baby. The conversation escalated into laughter as Jenner playfully suggested, Turn around and lets get started. Bend over, causing their entourage to chuckle along.
At one point, when someone remarked, Those noses are real, Jenner delivered her punchline, adding to the humor of the moment. Earlier this year, at Lauren Snchezs bachelorette dinner, Jenner was even mistaken for her daughter, which Kim recalled jokingly as being retold countless times.
Jenner had previously confirmed her latest facelift in an August interview with Vogue Arabia, describing it as a refresh after 15 years since her first procedure. She has been open about her cosmetic journey, which includes facelifts, Botox, fillers, breast augmentation, and laser treatments.
She first documented a facelift in 2011 on Keeping Up with the Kardashians ahead of Kims wedding to Kris Humphries, explaining her approach: For me, this is aging gracefully. Its my version. Despite her transparency, Jenner has consistently stated she has never had a nose job. Reflecting on aging, she added, Just because you get older, it doesnt mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and want to age gracefully whether that means doing nothing or making enhancements thats your choice. For me, this is my version.
Author’s Commentary: Kris Jenner’s Humor Highlights a Personal Approach to Aging
Kris Jenner once again demonstrated her playful personality on the latest episode of "The Kardashians," engaging in lighthearted teasing with Kim Kardashian while in Paris. Their exchange, which touched on cosmetic enhancements like wigs, veneers, and facelifts, was a reminder of Jenner’s candidness about her personal beauty journey.
Jenner’s joke about her nose being “probably the only thing on my face that’s real” subtly reinforces her transparency regarding her cosmetic procedures, including facelifts, Botox, fillers, and other treatments. She has consistently emphasized that her choices are her own and that aging gracefully can take many forms.
This segment underscores how Jenner balances humor with self-awareness, using her public platform to normalize discussions about cosmetic enhancements while maintaining a sense of authenticity. Her approach encourages viewers to view personal grooming and aging as individual decisions rather than societal mandates.
Ultimately, the episode illustrates Jenner’s philosophy: self-care and aesthetic decisions are deeply personal, and embracing them with humor and confidence can shift the narrative around aging in the public eye.
