Krsy Fox, Adrienne Barbeau, Aaron Abrams to headline Indie Horror Thriller 'Hannah Goes to Hell' (Exclusive)

Actress Krsy Fox, known for her role in Terrifier 3, horror icon Adrienne Barbeau, and Aaron Abrams from Clown in a Cornfield are set to star in the upcoming indie horror thriller Hannah Goes to Hell, produced by SlackJaw Film. The feature is directed by Anne Welles, who previously helmed the horror-comedy An Accidental Zombie Named Ted, with principal photography scheduled to begin later this month in Los Angeles.

Fox and Welles are also producing the project through SlackJaw Film, a company they founded to create dark, female-centered stories in the horror genre. The cast includes several familiar faces from horror cinema, such as Elle Riot Fox (Little Bites), Daniel Roebuck (Final Destination), Kevin Keppy (Smile), Kirby Bliss Blanton (The Green Inferno), Yoson An (Heart Eyes), and Nelson Leis (The Last Of Us).

The screenplay, co-written by Fox and Welles, follows Hannah (Fox) and her young daughter Louise (Elle Riot Fox) as they return to Hannahs childhood home to assist her brother (Abrams) in caring for their ailing mother (Barbeau). Strange occurrences in the town, nightly demonic visits, and the mystery surrounding a secretive church ritual make Hannah suspect that dark forces are connected to the family-owned funeral home and a hidden secret of their late grandfather (Roebuck).

Fox expressed excitement about the project, praising the script, the talented cast, and the collaboration with director Welles and cinematographer Andy Patch. She highlighted the contributions of the special effects teamKenneth Calhoun, Ryan Ward, and Salina Wardand noted her personal enthusiasm for working with her real-life daughter, Elle Riot Fox.

Tyler Connolly and Barbeau are attached as executive producers. Anne Welles is an award-winning director, Emmy-nominated producer, and actor, with a career producing independent projects since 2004. Krsy Fox is a Canadian-born actress, filmmaker, and musician with credits including Terrifier 3, Little Bites, Underworld Evolution, and Allegoria. Adrienne Barbeau is celebrated for her roles in 1980s horror and sci-fi classics such as The Fog, Escape From New York, Creepshow, and Swamp Thing. Aaron Abrams has appeared in series like Hannibal and Masters of Sex, as well as the comedy Children Ruin Everything.
