Kyle Richards Declares She Has Cut Off Communication with This 'RHOBH' Star

Kyle Richards, longtime cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has disclosed tension with fellow star Dorit Kemsley. During the December 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Richards shared details about the strain in their relationship, which reportedly stems from an incident on the season 15 Italy trip.

Richards, who has been with RHOBH since its first season, explained that both she and Erika Jayne are currently not communicating with Kemsley. "It pretty much came out at BravoCon that Erika and I are not speaking with Dorit and vice versa, because we had a very big blowout on our cast trip," she said.

She expressed surprise over the fallout, noting that she expected a smoother relationship with Kemsley due to their long tenure on the show. "That was really shocking, because we have been there the longest and obviously know each other the best. Its always more complicated when thats the case compared to dealing with a newer cast member," Richards said.

Conflict Over Messaging PK Kemsley

Richards further addressed the conflict in a December 2025 interview with Entertainment Tonight, linking it to her communication with Dorits estranged husband, PK Kemsley, during season 14. She admitted that Dorit was upset over the memes Richards sent to PK following his separation in May 2024. At the time, Richards said she didnt inform Dorit because they were not close.

"If we had been in a better place and communicating, it would have been different. I would have told her about the memes, and she could have asked me to stop. Then I would have, no problem," Richards explained. She confirmed she stopped messaging PK once she understood Dorits concerns.

Richards also highlighted that her husband, Mauricio Umansky, maintains a friendship with PK. She clarified that she had no objections to Mauricio and Dorit filming a conversation about Dorits separation for season 15. "I wanted Mo to help Dorit and PK navigate their separation peacefully. I never understood why she thought it was strange that PK would still send funny memes, just as I dont find it odd that she and Mo spoke," she said.

Possibility of Reconciliation

Despite the ongoing tension, Richards expressed hope for a future reconciliation. While acknowledging that they arent currently on good terms, she suggested that a renewed friendship could be possible in the future.
