Lady Gaga affectionately shares that her favorite smell is her fiancé Michael Polansky's neck

During a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Lady Gaga opened up about her fianc Michael Polansky, revealing a charming personal detail. The 14-time Grammy-winning singer, 39, shared what she considers her favorite smell and it happens to be her fianc's neck.

When Colbert asked Gaga to name her "favorite scent" for his segment "The Colbert Questionert," she answered immediately, saying, "Michael's neck." The host then turned to Polansky, who was off-camera, to ask if he wore cologne. Gaga clarified, "No, I actually don't like cologne. That's my least favorite smell. Just strong cologne... not for me."

Gaga and Polansky made their engagement public during the 2024 Paris Olympics, with the singer referring to him as "my fianc" while attending a swimming event with the French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. Their romantic relationship began in 2020 when they were photographed sharing a kiss at a New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas. Shortly afterward, they were seen publicly together during a Super Bowl weekend in Miami, where Gaga shared a cozy yacht photo on Instagram.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple spent time together in isolation at Gaga's Malibu home, enjoying quiet days and delivery meals. In March 2025, during a Good Morning America interview, Gaga spoke about realizing Polansky was "the one," saying, "He just loves the whole me."
