Leah Sava Jeffries teases intense Sirens scene with Annabeth in 'Percy Jackson And The Olympians' Season 2

Leah Sava Jeffries revealed that in the upcoming second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, her character Annabeth will experience a memorable and pivotal moment with the sirens, a scene well-known in the original books. Fans are excited as this adaptation will finally bring the iconic Sea of Monsters episode to life, which was previously omitted from the film adaptations.

During an interview with Blavity/Shadow and Act Managing Editor Trey Mangum, Jeffries admitted that the sequence is packed with spoilers, making it difficult to discuss without revealing key details.

Everything in that scene is significant, Jeffries explained. I cant emphasize enough that nothing should be missed. If you think about stepping away, even for a snack, youll miss a lot.

She described the scene as extremely intense and shared her excitement about the production aspects, especially the sirens singing. Hearing one of the performers who provided the sirens voices was incredible. I definitely want to credit her because her voice was amazing, Jeffries said. She also praised the makeup team, adding, Their work was terrifyingly good. The scene was dark and cold, and it really amplified the experience. I was shaking, but it was so much fun.

Jeffries reiterated that any additional details would risk spoiling the scene. Its so intense that even a small comment could give it away, she noted.

Season 2 Release Date

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 will be available on Disney+ and Hulu starting December 10.
